He co-founded Internet America (NASDAQ: GEEK), one of the first consumer ISPs, and LifeLock (NYSE: LOCK), the company that defined consumer identity-theft protection.

In 2025 he founded AnswerShare, building the infrastructure that makes the open web legible to AI, with Top10Lists as its live proof of concept.
